Utilize our co-working space, while your child plays in a supervised Montessori-inspired environment.

Self-employed; work remotely from the rest of your team; or you’re an entrepreneur? Is your usual childcare provider ill/unavailable and you still need to get work done? Need to catch up on bills/emails/vacation planning but your trusted sitter isn’t available? Or, need to just take a break?

Utilize the comfort of Roo’s common space upstairs to meet your “work-from-home” needs, while your child (birth to five years old) is engaged in Montessori-inspired play just down the stairs.

Roo’s co-working space and supervised play is available during our open weekday hours. We require a minimum of two hours per day.

What is included?

• One Nespresso coffee or tea
• Password protected Wi-fi
• A work space with seating, a work surface, and power source
• Extra diapers and wipes, in case yours run out
• A supervised Montessori-inspired play space for your child (up to five years old)
• Open play with your child for the rest of the day

How does it work?

While you’re working hard upstairs, we’ll supervise and engage actively with your child through play, reading stories, etc.

Reservations are required; space is limited. We encourage you to call/reserve online at least 24 hours prior to arriving to ensure we have a work space available for you and we are appropriately staffed. We recognize that it’s not always possible to know in advance that you’ll need to work from “home” and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

What should I bring for my child?

We have all the toys and fun they’ll need, but we also suggest bringing:

• A complete change of clothes
• Blanket/favorite toy/lovey, if they have one
• Pacifier
• Diapers and wipes
• Labeled bottles and formula/breast milk (prepared)
• Sippy cup (labeled)
• Snacks/lunch – nut-free

A gentle reminder that we do not currently offer drop-off childcare; and, therefore, you are legally required to stay on premises with your child; if you need to leave for any amount of time – you must take your child with you.
